Switch Terms of Service
By downloading and using Switch, you agree to these terms. They are kept short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email me.
License
Switch is provided free of charge for personal use. The application binary and all assets are © 2026 Sanyam Garg. You may install Switch on devices you own and use it indefinitely.
You may not redistribute Switch, repackage it, sell it, or remove the developer's signing identity. You may not decompile or reverse-engineer the app except where local law explicitly permits it.
No warranty
Switch is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Switch intercepts global keyboard events and captures window contents; it has been tested on macOS 14 and 15 but environment-specific issues may occur. Use at your own risk.
Liability
In no event will the developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use Switch.
System permissions
Switch requires Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions to function. You grant these explicitly in System Settings. Revoke them at any time by removing Switch from System Settings → Privacy & Security. See the Privacy Policy for what each permission is used for.
Updates
Switch does not auto-update. You opt in to new versions by downloading a new build from switch-dev.sanyamgarg.com or GitHub Releases.
Termination
You may stop using Switch at any time by dragging it to the Trash. These terms terminate when you remove the application.
Changes
If these terms change in a meaningful way, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
